Weekly Feature: New Hampshire Fishercats

If you haven't been to a Fishercats game yet, you have to try it! It is a very family-friendly environment and there are a lot of families with children who attend. We went at least 7 times last year and had a blast!

I was hesitant that my four-year-old would be bored to tears watching a baseball game, but I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of things they had going on to keep her interested; like the hilarious sumo wrestlers, the kid's race with Fungo the mascot, sandwhich builder, and other fun games, and give-aways. If you choose to go to a home game, try to get tickets for the free Atlas Fireworks show. It's usually quite impressive! Who wouldn't want to see fireworks on a day other than the fourth of July?!

Most fireworks shows are on Thursday, Friday and Saturday game nights. The downfall is that you're family can be up quite late if you choose to stay for the fireworks show.

Most nights they have a special event or give-a-away, check out this year's 2010 schedule to see what your family might like to participate in:

Keep in mind, tickets do sell fast! If this is something you're interested in, I'd definitely look into it sooner rather than later.
